WIP: Vanellope von Schweetz leggings

I’m working on a Vanellope von Schweetz costume for ConNooga this weekend, and here is my progress on the leggings so far!

Many thanks go out to my friend Gena, who sent me the instructions for drafting the base pattern and teaching me how to use a mock-up to make a custom pattern; and to my friend Amanda, who has been encouraging me throughout this process.

Here’s a WIP picture from a couple of years ago. I made my Black Gold Saw claws out of paper clay because it was lightweight and sanded really nicely.

Black Gold Saw and Mirai Nendoroids

I got my Mirai Nendoroid a couple of weeks ago, and I set her up next to BGS for a bit of fun. She’s holding a moekana card.
